About AI Course Finder

AI Course Finder started with a simple frustration: nearly every "best AI courses" list online is ordered by who pays the most, not by what suits the reader. We are an independent Australian team building the alternative, matching learners to courses by fit rather than by commission.

Why we exist

There are thousands of AI courses now, and choosing wrongly costs real money and weeks of time. Most comparison sites are quietly optimised for affiliate payouts, which buries free university courses that are often the better choice. We score every course the same way, against six things about you: your role, level, goals, time, learning style and budget.

Free courses such as fast.ai and MIT OpenCourseWare rank first whenever they genuinely fit best, even though we earn nothing from them. That independence is the point. The day we only recommend courses that pay us is the day we stop being useful.

What we stand for

Fit first, by design

Fit decides your ranking. Commission is a bounded tiebreaker between courses that already fit you equally well, and courses with no affiliate programme take those spots whenever they suit you better. Our methodology page sets out exactly how the scoring works.

Evidence over marketing

Every course is assessed against the same criteria: depth, pacing, support and outcomes, drawn from published syllabi, provider documentation and learner feedback rather than marketing copy.

No walls, no spam

You see your full results without an account or an email address. We exist to help you decide, then get out of your way.

Commercial relationships, stated plainly

We have confirmed affiliate relationships with two providers: DataCamp and Udemy. Three courses in the catalogue carry a tracking link, and each one is labelled as an affiliate link wherever it appears. The other 104 courses earn us nothing. Where we do earn a commission, it never changes a course's fit score, only its position among courses that already scored the same.
