AI for Designers review: IxDF's course, honestly assessed

What the course covers

The current syllabus includes AI-supported research and ideation, prototyping and testing, and designing human-centred AI products. Optional portfolio activities and downloadable templates are described by the provider.

Workload and release schedule

IxDF lists 14.5 hours across six lessons, with lessons becoming available weekly. Self-paced study does not necessarily mean every lesson is unlocked immediately. Check the intake and release dates if you have a deadline.

Membership and certificates

The course is included for members. Confirm the current membership price, billing period and access terms rather than treating an old monthly estimate as a standalone course fee.

A completion certificate can support a learning record, but it does not guarantee a hiring result. Compare the material with the design decisions and portfolio work you need to develop.

Which design goal fits?

A useful follow-on exercise

Choose one design problem, record where AI helped, and explain what required human judgement or validation. Use real research evidence to check generated assumptions. This is our suggested study output, not a provider assessment.
